PrivateEye is a program that will blur the content of your screen for strangers.
If you are a registered user, looking at the monitor of your computer, your webcam will "see" your face, and the program will show you the right image. But if you walk away from your computer, the image will become illegible. Nobody not registered with the program will be able to understand what is your computer displaying. When you are back, the system will show you the normal screen, as always.
PrivateEye will install an icon in the system tray, that you can use to access the program´s features. By right-clicking on it you can access the context menu, that will let you set the security level (Normal, High or Custom), add, modify or delete users from the program´s database (you can protect this with a password), and set the program options. You can tell the program what to do when it detects some eavesdropper staring at your computer, the method to apply to blur the content of the screen and the general webcam settings.
The demo version of this program will work for free for 30 days.
